HASAN.VC launches Accelerator Cohort 003 for visionary founders

HASAN.VC, an integral part of the Ethis Group, has announced the launch of Cohort 003 of its high-impact Accelerator Programme, continuing its mission to nurture halal and ethical startups across Southeast Asia. Following the graduation of Cohort 002, applications are now open for a new generation of purpose-driven founders ready to scale their ventures and shape the future of ethical innovation.

The HASAN.VC Accelerator is a five-week online programme tailored for early-stage halal and ethical startups. It offers up to US$60,000 (RM253,000) in pre-seed funding, hands-on mentorship from leading Muslim entrepreneurs and global experts, and exclusive access to a network of over 500 angel investors.

According to the company, founders will also benefit from a vibrant peer community, government co-funding opportunities, and strategic access to a market of 60 million Muslims via its partner ecosystem.

“We’ve designed this programme to go beyond just capital. It’s a founder-first ecosystem built on shared values, collaboration, and real-world business support. Our focus is on enabling high-potential, impact-driven startups, particularly those led by Muslim and female founders to thrive in a market that traditional VC models often underserve,” Umar Munshi, managing partner of HASAN.VC and group managing director of Ethis said.

The programme continues to address critical gaps faced by startups in Southeast Asia, with a proven track record of tangible results. Across its first two cohorts, 42 startups joined Cohort 001 and 29 participated in Cohort 002, with 20 successfully securing funding. To date, the accelerator has nurtured high-potential ventures across key sectors. Notable alumni include Qara’a, Synbiozymes, Reyhut Automation, GoBarakah, DashAdd, Xentri, and Fly0.

“We are looking for passionate, resilient founders ready to solve real-world problems through ethical innovation. As Southeast Asia continues its rise as a global innovation hub, now is the time to scale halal startups that are built on both purpose and performance,” Mohd Akhtaar, principal at HASAN.VC said.

Each cohort accepts ten high-potential startups, offering equity-based funding and strategic mentorship. The programme culminates in a Demo Day, where startups pitch to investors, partners, and ecosystem leaders.

If you’re an ambitious founder building a halal or ethical startup in Southeast Asia, this is your opportunity to gain funding, traction, and community through one of the region’s most inclusive and fast-growing accelerator programmes.
