A venture studio is a company that creates startups by providing funding, resources, and expertise. Unlike accelerators that work with existing startups, venture studios help build startups from the ground up, providing both capital and hands-on support throughout the entire journey from ideation to launch and growth.
Absolutely! We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. While tech skills are valuable, we also need business strategists, marketers, designers, and domain experts. What’s most important is your drive, learning capacity, and alignment with our vision of creating impactful Muslim-led startups.
You must relocate to Kuala Lumpur for the first 10 days. After that, the program transitions to remote.
Unlike courses that focus only on education, or accelerators that work with existing startups, a venture studio combines education and networking together with actual startup creation. We provide funding, co-build products, and take an active role in helping your venture succeed. We invest real capital and resources in exchange for equity.
Equity arrangements are customized based on the specific startup, funding required, and founder contribution. However, our approach emphasizes fair terms that reward founders appropriately for their efforts while providing the studio with sustainable returns. All equity agreements follow Shariah-compliant structures.
No, accommodation will not be provided. Suggested hotels to book that are close to the co-working space will be sent via email with acceptance email, post-interview call.
We’ll continue to build till exit or IPO. Candidates will receive equity vested in the startup based on their role.
No, there will be a thorough assessment of each applicant to ensure they meet the minimum criteria. Only the best candidates will be selected for the program.
Yes. You will take an in-house exam. If passed, you’ll receive a certificate in: “Venture Capital Fundamentals & Startup Research in Healthcare Technology (Intensive)” by HASAN.VC.
