HASAN.VC has announced the launch of its inaugural Venture Studio in Kota Bharu, set to commence on 1 July 2025. The initiative is designed to co-build AI-native startups in collaboration with carefully selected early-stage founders.
The programme adopts a distinctive “zero-to-one” methodology, in which participants will work closely with the HASAN.VC team to ideate and validate startup concepts during an intensive 15-day on-site sprint. The most promising ventures will proceed to Phase 2 of HASAN.VC’s proprietary research process, with the opportunity to receive up to RM380,000 (USD 90,000) in pre-seed funding and automatic entry into the upcoming HASAN.VC Accelerator cohort.
“We believe in going earlier — pre-idea. There is so much untapped talent waiting for the right conditions to thrive. This programme is designed to spark that potential,” said Mohd Akhtaar, Head of Accelerator and Investor Relations at HASAN.VC.
The Venture Studio will be hosted at Kijo.my, a coworking space in Kota Bharu, and will offer mentorship, AI-powered tools, and a dynamic environment for startup creation. The initiative is aimed at attracting values-driven talent from Kelantan, the East Coast, and further afield — including engineers, AI practitioners, product developers, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Participants will also have the opportunity to pitch their ventures to strategic partners, mentors, and venture capital panels at the conclusion of the programme.
